12 Shot Master
This project was to tell a simple story in 12 shots. Our group decided to check out a library book. This project had the most artistic shots of the semester in my opinion.  This was filmed in the Washburn University library and was edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Storyboarding for the 12 Shot Master video. These include a rough outline of what we planned to shoot including lenght of shots, types of shots, camera movements, and some small optional notes. There were a lot of optional notes on these as I wanted to quickly test some ideas on the filming day.
Hand Mic Interviews
In this video we interviewed other students and asked them wacky hypothetical questions. The goal was to learn about mixing and mastering audio. Filming this outsiode posed some challenges as it was pretty windy the week we shot this video. We combatted this with a windscreen or foam cover over the microphone and cleaning up the audio in post. I was a bit reckless with the microphone placement in this video, but i had never used one before or interviewed anyone with one. so it was definitely  learning experience. This video was edited in Adobe Premiere Pro with some added animations done with Adobe After Effects.
PSA Video: Making a Daily Difference
This PSA video is about daily choices you can make in your routine to leave less of a footprint and go green. There are two cuts, one 30 seconds, and the other 60 seconds. The 60 second cut of this PSA won a first place KAB Award for :60 Second or less Commerical: PSA or non-com donor announcement for the college category. This project involved a lot of problem solving on how to get the timing right for both clips. Some were aligned in post production during editing, others were filmed by timing, and some are just one shot with the line dividng it. Figuring out the best method to keep the video balanced or symmetrical was tricky, but I belive our solutions played out nicely.  This video was edited with Adobe Premiere Pro and has light anitmation elements from Adobe After Effects
